Why are you involved with the Lake Erie Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association?
To bring the Penn State experience here to NW Pa, and help raise money for student scholarships.
What is your favorite Penn State moment?
Our 2nd NCAA National Championship in football (1986)
What do you like most about your career?
The people I met and the places in the country where I lived and worked : (9) years in Florida, (9) years in Texas, (4) years in Lancaster /York, PA & (1) year in New York City.
What are your hobbies?
Golf, Sports Cars, Travel, Music, Coin, Lighter & Marble Collections
Where else do you volunteer?
Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity (PSU) Board of Directors - 1st VP (2010-present), Erie Maennerchor Club – Board of Trustees (2011-13)
What is your favorite restaurant in Erie/Crawford/Venango?
(Erie) The Public House, (Crawford) Montana’s Steak & Chop House, (Venango) Venango Valley Inn & Golf Course
One piece of career advice to recent Penn State graduates:
Increase your net value to prospective employers with as much quality life and work experiences as you can. Your degree alone, just isn’t enough.
Why should alumni get involved with LEC-PSAA?
The current board is a diversified group of very talented people with a wide range of education, work & life experiences.
Why should alumni meet you?
I have an unusually large network of friends and acquaintances from years of working with small & medium sized companies and seven years of capital fund raising in all my volunteer work since retirement.
