2023 Summer Event - Saturday, August 5th

2023 Summer Event returns and will feature the Keystone Sports Network!!
On the evening of August 5th, we’ll welcome our very special guests from the Keystone Sports Network who will “set the table” for the 2023 Penn State Football season! Audience participation will be GREATLY encouraged. The menu for 2023 will pay homage to the barbeque classics and will feature ribs & chicken along with all the classic sides & goodies you’ve come to love over the years. Please plan to join us at the Wilson Picnic Grove for a great evening of fun, food, and football. Follow us on social media where the details of the event will be announced.
As always, we will be featuring a silent auction during the event to raise scholarship funds for deserving Penn State students. RAFFLE ITEM DONATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED! We are looking for members to donate (or convince area businesses to donate) items for the silent auction. Typical items would include: Penn State apparel (hats, shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, etc.); Penn State collectibles (prints, pictures, books); a pair of tickets to a game that you can’t attend; a round of golf at an area golf course; other non-Penn State items (gift cards to stores or restaurants, art work, holiday-related items, a bottle of wine from a local winery, etc.). In order to prepare for the auction, we humbly request that you send us the information about all the items to be auctioned by August 1st. Please direct your donations and/or questions to Ryan at Ryan.Barninger@gmail.com or 814-323-6059.

Alumni Donate Time and Energy to Greater Erie Habitat for Humanity
The Penn State Alumni once again stepped up and volunteered their labor on Saturday, March 11th. The crew doggedly nailed ‘hurricane’ straps securing walls to roof trusses on a cold Saturday morning in a house being built by Habitat for Humanity. Other rough carpentry work was performed as well. The house is being built for a refugee family from the Congo. Upon completion, the family will assume a 30-year, interest free mortgage to repay Habitat for Humanity for the cost of construction.
