Why are you involved with the Lake Erie Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association?
After graduation I wanted to give back to Penn State.
What is your favorite Penn State moment?
When my daughter graduated from Penn State and my wife delivered the Commencement Address.
What do you like most about your career?
Working with diverse populations to improve their quality of life.
What are your hobbies?
I play several instruments and enjoy traveling especially to other countries.
Where else do you volunteer?
I volunteer with the Alzheimer and Autism Society
What is your favorite restaurant in Erie/Crawford/Venango?
My favorite restaurant is Cloud 9 Wine Bar
One piece of career advice to recent Penn State graduates:
Stay connected with Penn State Alumni because no matter where you travel there will most always be another Penn Stater there who you can talk and network with.
Why should alumni get involved with LEC-PSAA?
It’s great to be connected because when you join a chapter you have a ready-made group of friends, get a chance to help people, and raise funds for our scholarship.
Why should alumni meet you?
I have a strong knowledge of both Erie County and City residents, over 50 years’ experience working with the public in foodservice, restaurant management and social services.
