Why are you involved with the Lake Erie Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association?
I am looking for ways to become more closely involved with my community and hometown while contributing to the best alumni organization in the country.
What is your favorite Penn State moment?
Walking out of the tunnel, freezing and wet, to behold Beaver Stadium and 100,000 screaming fans for the first time on a rainy day in September of 2006.
What do you like most about your career?
I like the responsibility I am given and the wide range of tasks I am forced to tackle on a daily basis. I get to use my brain, my hands and my personal skills every day.
What are your hobbies?
Working out, hiking, skiing, traveling, woodworking, college football, video games, movies and beer.
What is your favorite restaurant in Erie/Crawford/Venango?
Brewerie
One piece of career advice to recent Penn State graduates:
Always be open to new opportunities, challenges and experiences. You will never know what you are missing if you are never willing to try something new.
Why should alumni get involved with LEC-PSAA?
It is a great way to meet new people, get involved in the community and show Penn State pride….WE ARE!
Why should alumni meet you?
I have lived in a few different areas and seen many different places throughout the country. I have also had an unorthodox work and education history that I feel gives me a unique perspective on things. I am hoping that my experiences will help generate ideas that will be interesting to prospective members and useful to the organization.
