Why are you involved with the Lake Erie Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association?
Penn Staters are known for their generosity and hospitality. I want to continue that tradition and pass along to others in the Lake Erie area.
What is your favorite Penn State moment?
Singing the alma mater for graduation in 2004, closely followed by attending the 2017 Rose Bowl with my sister.
What do you like most about your career?
The life-long relationships I form with our students, their parents and families – it’s humbling to have the privilege of meeting so many amazing individuals and sharing life’s joys together.
What are your hobbies?
Softball, Golf, Las Vegas
Where else do you volunteer?
St. Mary’s Home, Second Harvest Food Bank Produce Express
What is your favorite restaurant in Erie/Crawford/Venango?
Calamari’s (Erie), TimberCreek Tap and Table (Crawford), Venango Golf Course (Venango)
One piece of career advice to recent Penn State graduates:
Networking involves listening to others, not others listening to you. Resist the temptation to “sell” yourself in conversation. Ask meaningful questions that will facilitate great discussion – that’s much more memorable and authentic.
Why should alumni get involved with LEC-PSAA?
We Are….a very welcoming and dedicated group to the advancement of Penn State, and “may our lives but swell thy fame!”
Why should alumni meet you?
I was born and raised in State College – I can teach you all locals’ tips for navigating football gameday. I’m also super fun and love to connect individuals to reach goals.
