I serve as Penn State Behrend’s primary alumni relations coordinator and the lead liaison to the Penn State Alumni Association. I assist in the development and implementation of all aspects of the alumni relations program for Behrend’s 35,000 alumni.

Why are you involved with the Lake Erie Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association?
I have a passion for making a positive, tangible difference at Penn State Behrend and the Erie community.
What is your favorite Penn State moment?
Receiving the phone call that I got my dream job at Penn State Behrend!
What do you like most about your career?
No day is the same and I am constantly challenged. I meet lots of people with whom I am able to share my enthusiasm for Penn State and Penn State Behrend.
What are your hobbies?
I play the ukulele, kayak, exercise, eat Creamery Ice Cream, and spend time with my dog, Daisy.

One piece of career advice to recent Penn State graduates:
Dress nicer than your colleagues. As a young face, you want to espouse your professionalism from the moment co-workers and supervisors see you.
Why should alumni get involved with LEC-PSAA?
We enable Penn Staters in the region to connect through social, service, athletic, and fundraising events. In four years, we raised more than $60,000 for an endowed scholarship for Penn State students. We annually donate hundreds of dollars and raise hundreds more for THON. We host football watching parties every weekend in the fall. And we coordinate three service events a year for our members to take part in and represent our alma mater.

I am an achievement-driven Alumni Relations Professional with a decade of internal and public relations, event management, e-communications, and marketing experience.
